Number of Pages
Choose the number of pages(number of Sides not sheets of paper) in your book. Note the number you choose is related to the "Cover Options". If your book is a "Self Cover" then the Number of Pages includes the cover which is 4 pages.
Cover Options
• Self Cover - The cover is printed on the same stock as the inside pages
Separate Covers Printed Full Colour:
• On Silk Matt - 256gsm coated with a satin matt finish
• On Gloss - 256gsm coated with a gloss finish
• On Offset - 300gsm uncoated porous, flat finish
Inside Page Stock
• Uncoated - No coating provides a porous surface with increased ink absorption. The result is a soft, warm flat finish perfect for writing on.
• Gloss - A Gloss coating creates a seal that means the ink sits on top of the paper. The result is a shiny glossy finish. Not recommended if you want to write on the pages.
• Silk Matt - A Silk Matt coating creates a seal that means the ink sits on top of the paper. The result is a high quality satin finish. This is a very popular option.
Paper Weight Guide GSM (Grams per Square Metre):
• 90 to 115 - light, as used by household printers
• 120 to 150 - an average weight, often used for posters
Page Printing
• 1/1 Black Ink all text - Printed on both sides in black ink only.
• 4/4 Full Colour all text - Printed on both sides CMYK (full colour). Select when a mix of text and coloured images.
Book Binding
• Saddle Stitched - Two staples on the spine. For best results choose no more than 32 pages of 150gsm stock or 40 pages of 90gsm stock.
• Wiro Bound - A metal wire is wound through the cover and pages. Recommended when wanting the book to lay open flat. We recommend that you select a separate thick cover.

• No Proof - You are confident with the file you supply us and are prepared to take a risk.
• PDF Proof - We will email to you a PDF of the book.
• Hard Copy - We will courier to you a printed mock-up of the book.
